Traxxas T-Maxx or Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3?
I am thinking about getting either a T-Maxx 3.3 or one of the T-Maxx RC cars. How much are they? Are they reliable? High Maintenance?
I have a T-Maxx 2.5, and from what i hear is that although old, are much better than the 3.3, i hear that 3.3′s are more powerful, but people say that overall the 2.5 t-maxx is a better machine than the 3.3 despite what the shop people say.
I love my 2.5 ! runz like a champ! (Just remember to learn the engine break-in rule thing, 5 tanks of easy going use to get that baby prepared for MAXIMUM potential) i hear if u don’t break your engine in correctly it can cause major problems to it later.
problem is, i don’t know if they sell 2.5′s anymore….but when i got it (i got some cool stuff with it, a new gear (metal instead of plastic so it doesnt strip and such) but total i spent about 800 dollars.
i beleive they are around 400 stock brand new, but meh.,..plastic doesnt last long so i’d advice you invest in some metal gears and other parts that may be…semi-fragile.

how do i break in my my new tmaxx 3.3 nitro truck?
i need to know how to break it in cause i messed up on my other buggy a redcat racing tornado xl cause i was too excited when i got it so i went full throttle and it messed it up bad so i need to know how to break one in
First off it helps when you know what a tmax 3.3 nitro truck is befour you answer the question. My son and I have raced tmax and truggy for many years and the general standard for breaking in a new motor is to bench idle the first two tanks through. This means dont even turn the radio on, just set the throtle by hand and let the motor run at idle. The third tank you can turn the radio on but only use short burst on the throtle, no full throtle just little short burst. The last tank you can turn on the power a little more, still no extended full throtle just short runs at full. After that it should be ready to go. A very helpful tool for tuning is one of the laser temp guns, point it at the top of the head where the plug is and try to keep the temp between 250 and 300 degrees. Use a good race fuel and it should last for a pretty good while. Good Luck!

However, a person with ADHD during a time of trying to concentrate, doesn’t increase the beta wave activity. Instead, theta waves, the daydreaming part of the brain waves, are increased. For example, in school, when children with ADHD are supposed to be concentrating and accomplishing mental work, they are daydreaming with their theta wave brain activity, instead of using their beta brain waves .

Help adding 2 cells to rc 6 cell pack NiMH pic included?
I was wondering if I can connect 2 more cells to my 6 cell NiMH rc battery back by doing it like this ( look at pic).

I was going to connect the 2 cell pack positve to the negative on the 6 cell pack and the negative to positive on the 6 cell pack then put the 2 cell on top to make hump 8 cell 9.6v battery pack.
I’m running it in a traxxas slash that has a 12 turn motor rated to 9.6v. Please let me know if this will work cuz somebody told me it wouldn’t because it’s not connected directly battery to battery and it won’t be the proper power since I’m using wire to connect into the battery circuit. Please help, thanks (is this how the 8 cell hump battery packs are assembled?

Yes you can do that. Make sure you use heavy gauge wire and keep the wire as short as possible.
