traxxas stampede glitches?
please only answer this question if you know what i am talking about. i have an older traxxas stampede, xl-1 esc. i was messing with it yesterday after not touching it for almost 6 months, and i charged and plugged in the battery and as soon as i do, it goes haywire. it glitches and won’t let me do anything. is it a bad esc? bad reciever? the plug from the esc that goes into the reciever was all chewed up, so i replaced the plug. all batteries are charged and new. so it isn’t dead batteries. i have no clue what it could be.
give me sum money and i’ll update my esc……..i didn’t ask if it was updated, as long as it works
Sure sounds like weak/dead batteries. But if you ar sure they are charged, I think you could rule that out. If the receiver is chewed up, I suppose something “could” be wrong with that. You could also be getting some kind of radio frequency interference from someplace. Have you added any type of wireless devices in you house since you used the truck the last time? About the only way to figure it out is by the process of elimination.I’d try new batteries first though. Then, if you can, try exchanging the the receiver for one that you know is good. Maybe you have a friend that has one you can use. If all else fails, you might have to take it to a hobby shop and see if they can isolate the problem. Good luck
