Tmaxx 3.3 Transmission problem?
I’ve had a Tmaxx 3.3 for a few months now and have had nothing but trouble with it. I broke it in using the extensive five tank break-in procedure by Traxxas. Then everything went downhill, the truck wouldn’t tune. So, to make a long story short… It apparently had transmission problems out of the factory. Anyways, I couldn’t figure out how to adjust it. I looks on forums and everything, all they ever seem to do is advertise how easy it is to adjust it… but I have yet to find ANY KIND OF INSTRUCTION AS TO HOW YOU ADJUST THE SHIFT TIMING FROM FIRST TO SECOND GEAR!!! Anyways, due to me driving it with it always hanging in second gear… now the clutch went out and it dies if I drop below 5-6 mph. Any ideas on that too, is it a slipper clutch assembly I need to buy?? Or a whole new transmission? Thanks for your help. Any is highly appreciated!!
i would try taking the transmission apart and looking at it and/or take the clutch off and look at it. when we got our rc10 half the clutch was missing 0.o.
