Should I get another battery for my Traxxas Slash?
I have a Traxxas Slash 1/16 VXL on the way. I do not know what kind of run times I will be getting with the stock battery. Should I go ahead and upgrade? Because if I don’t decide now i’ll have to wait at least two weeks before I can get any new parts!
You’re probably going to get about 5-8 minutes of run time depending on the battery that comes with it and how well you charge it the first time. I’d probably wait and see what you get out of the stock battery before you get something else. But chances are, with electric, you won’t get much more run time with another battery unless you go to the real high dollar Lipo’s. That’s why I run nitro.
