The Traxxas Slash 4×4 sports a design like no other on the market. While modern and innovative, it is engineered to be simple and easy to use. The radio system features the convenience of simply switching the vehicle on and driving it. Once it is on, you can race it, jump it or do whatever tricks you devise.
In addition to simplicity, it was also designed to be versatile for use both on and off of the track with its rigid chassis. With its high ground clearance and powerful 4-wheel drive system in addition to the racing suspension, this radio controlled vehicle has the traction required for its brushless horsepower to take you to speeds of over 60 miles per hour.
With the optimal placement of the components in the chassis, there is a balanced weight bias from both the front to the back bumper and side-to-side which enhances the Slash 4×4’s performance. This optimally placed center of gravity is designed for smooth handling while cornering.
In terms of power, the Velineon Brushless Power System delivers what you need. Its design is optimized for both power and speed via components that work together. With its optimal efficiency and speed is the Slash 4×4’s precision throttle response and control. For an experienced racer, these capabilities can give you an edge over the competition.
For a beginner, the simple on/off feature and ease of use is attractive. When learning how to operate your Slash 4×4, the training mode option makes it easy via hands-on usage how to use your radio controlled vehicle. This mode reduces the power by 50 percent thus allowing anyone the ability to take the wheel.
Obstacles are no challenge for the Slash 4×4 with its 2.5 inch ground clearance and 13.2 inch wheelbase. Underneath the vehicle it is very smooth to cut down on drag and to keep from snagging any debris during operation. You do not have to worry about water, mud or snow as the electronics on board are waterproof and the BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires can keep you rolling. You can go wherever you want when you want.
Another important feature of your Slash 4×4 is the long range radio system that works to eliminate any frequency conflicts that may impede your performance.
