what materials should i use to build a roll cage?
im looking to build a roll cage and light rack on my traxxas slash what materials should i use. i want the joints to look good anyone got ideas?
i know u can buy them but i prefer to make it myself

Brass tube. Available at any hobby shop. Get a cheap bending tool while you’re there. Cut to fit, solder the joints, and file the solder joints smooth. Much more durable than wire and looks more realistic. you can get the tubing in various diameters, so you can make your roll cage one size and the lightbar a little smaller. After you’re done making it, sand all the tubing with a fine grit sandpaper to rough it up, and paint it any color you like, or leave it the brass color. The only thing about leaving it brass, is that it will tarnish and turn dark and mottled.
