R/C Car, Drifting + Offroad?
Hey i want an r/c car that can do some drifting and that car go offroad as well, i was thinking about the Traxxas Jato. Does anybody have one of these that they can give me a small review of? Is the Jato 2 or 4 wheel drive?

Drifting + offroad = not so much. If you are looking for your first hobby grade rc car, then traxxas is definitely a good manufacturer to go with, as most hobby shops stock traxxas vehicles and parts. I would suggest an electric rustler or stampede. I have both, and even though I race competitively and have much more advanced vehicles, I still terrorize the neighbors kids with my rustler, and my wife’s stampede. The Jato,even the 2.5, is an insanely fast truck which will most assuredly lead to many crashes and broken parts in all but the most experienced hands. I talked to the owner of a hobby shop and he said most people tried to sell their jatos because they were too fast to control. Trust me, just get an electric XL-5 rustler and a decent battery and charger and go from there. Its what I started with, its what my wife started with, and I think it has the highest “fun per dollar” ratio of any rc car I bought.
