If you’re going to race off-road, get either a Losi or Associated 1/10th
scale buggy or truck (trucks are easier to drive). If you’re not going to race
get a Traxxas, they’re not as fragile as the other two. If you’re going to run
on-road, again Associated, Losi or HPI. I personally would avoid starting
out on nitro cars as the initial purchase (and learning curve) can be pretty
steep (unless you live in an area where there are a lot of nitro drivers). Get
something with a stock motor and learn with that, otherwise you’ll be making expensive confetti. . . .
