what kind of rc battery do i need?
im a beginner with Rc planes and my http://www.hobby-lobby.com/corsair_6875_prd1.htm is coming in the mail soon.. when i fly it i want more than 15 min max of fly time so i was thinking of getting a couple expensive long lasting batteries or a bunch of cheaper ones that i can swap when they run out of power.. ide like to get an hour+ of combined flight time with a budget of roughly $100
I would only buy the same stock battery. Putting in a battery with different weight might change the center of gravity. This will make the plane fly poorly.
15 minutes is a fair amount of time. It might not be a bad idea to just use the one battery it comes with until you get a feel for the plane.
That is a nice looking plane. I suspect that it will get beat up pretty fast. I am not so sure it is the best choice for a beginner.
