R/C Car,Truck,TRX,Nitro Sport,Faulty Sensor? Glow Plug? My Truck caught on fire has anyone else had a problem?

Does anyone know of any recalls,or anyone that has experieced a fire with their nitro R/C car or truck, what caused it to burn?

Fires with Nitro vehicles are not uncommon. However they are usually the result of improper use or carelessness. Sad to say but true.
If not all safety precautions are observed, then a fire could indeed happen. Nitro fuel is extremely flammable, and should always be handled with exteme caution. Even a minor spill when filling up the tank, and then a spark from anything, could be disastrous.
There are warnings on the fuel jugs. There are warnings in owners manuals for the cars. It is all over the internet. You must be careful with nitro fuel or you will get burned(pardon the pun).
If and when a fire does occur, it cannot be blamed on the car, or the manufacturer. It is always the result of the user. (again, sad but true) Period!
All accidents are preventable. ALL.
I have talked to a lot of drivers and pilots of RC cars and planes using nitro and in all cases fires were their fault from not following the warnings
