What is this button for in my new car???
I just bought a 2006 chevy malibu. The gear shift is on the floor in between the 2 front seats. There is a button on the shifter, right where your thumb goes, it is a + – button. Any ideas what its for??? It doesnt do anything w/ the radio or cruise control and I didnt see anything in manual re it! Thank you!
it is the downshift and upshift button…pull the shift lever to the #2 position and try the lever, it will downshift and up shift as you move the button
