What is better a masters in business management or business marketing?
I’m looking for an area where there is the most demand to do my masters in, I already have a Bachelors in Art in the Toy industry, so now I’m thinking about going for management positions within it. What I really want to do is open my own business one day, but I wouldn’t mind working within the marketing department of a really successful already established business like Mattel. Couple questions
1)Anyone know what the difference between business management and business administration is?
2)Does anyone know the difference between business marketing and business management and what I can expect to learn if I did a masters in them and how I can apply those skills to a job?
3)How long does a masters generally take if you already have a bachelors?
4)Would I be able to do a Masters in business management or marketing with a bachelors in art and what would YOU recommend I do if I’m looking to open my own business?
I hope that you understand that only marketing specialization focuses on the marketing stuff, whereas in business you will get to know every field, HR, Finance, Operations and Marketing as well…
though business is more powerful degree but if you are more deviated towards marketing i will prefer you to go for marketing coz in the end the business is mainly about products and the products is the territory of marketing, i teach marketing, entrepreneurship and business policy and i know the major part goes towards marketing
In marketing you will mainly deal with the product development, sales, distribution, advertising and customer satisfaction and relationships.
The duration of program varies from country to country and from university to university
