When Barbie, the muses in designers’ eyes, choose her next pair of beautiful pumps, a super famous women’s shoes designer is absolutely necessary. This year, a Frenchman Christian Louboutin was choosed by her.
Christian Louboutin, an outstanding women’s shoe designer, is famous for the splash of red on the sole of shoes designed by him. There is no doubt that the splash of red is every super fans of pumps favorite. Talking about the French old man Louboutin，he thinks that women’s beautiful legs can not lack of a pair of suitable and beautiful pumps. In 1991, Louboutin released his first series of high heels. These pumps were all 12cm or more high. Louboutin’s purpose is very interesting;”I hope that women who wear pumps designed by me look more sexy, more beautiful, and their legs look as long as possible.”he said. It seems that Christian Louboutin like women’s beautiful legs naturally. Surely, his interesting makes him giving so many sexy moments to women.
Now, we know Louboutin’s design ideas, it’s easy to understand that why he was willing to design lovely and pretty high heels for Barbie and hold the post of Barbie’s fashionable godfather for one year. However, Christian Louboutin’s work is not restricted to rebuild Barbie’s wardrobe; his real focus of work is giving some necessary art direction to Barbie’s colorful life.
Barbie’s boss Mattel has begun cooperation with Christian Louboutin in the beginning of this year. During NewYork Fashion Week in February, on the Barbie reality shows for her 50 year old celebration, models were wearing pink red-sole Christian Louboutin pumps which are designed exclusively for Barbie. Next, Christian Louboutin will design accessories for Barbie and direct to the market. In addition, a dairy《The year in Paris with Christian Louboutin》which is about Louboutin’s favorites and photos about Barbie and him will be released at the same time.
Asking about the cooperation, Stephanie Cota, Mettel’s SVP who is responsible for the company’s market expending, say that the cooperation is reasonable; that’s not only because of Barbie’s fashionable tradition, but also because her especial favorites to high heels. As she needs many high heels, so we should design a unique series of pumps for her.
We have seen the real image of the pair of pink high heels designed for Barbie. The designer said, “She needs a pair of great shoes, a pair of high thin heels. The stilettos’ curve often intoxicates me. And stilettos fit for Barbie’s perfect body.”
The three customized Barbie are packaged with Christian Louboutin shoebox, and be served four pair of Christian Louboutin pumps. Even more interesting is that a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes which designed for Barbie walking on the carpet.
It seems that Barbie will continue her fashionable legend. Our appearances must have looked faded when she is 100 year old, and she is still beautiful and brilliant.
