I need help selling an invention to an already existing company!?!?
What if I had an idea for a new toy and I wanted to sell it to like Mattel, or someone of that sort, I’ve been searching the web site but all I can find is their customer service number and other stuff I don’t need. I’m just trying to figure out who to get in touch with and how do I do it when they don’t have that as an option on their website? Please Help Me!!!!
Use “Thomas Register.com to find the phone number for their headquarters, and call and ask to speak to the head of product development.
Be careful, if you do not have a patent you will need to get the company to sign a non-disclosure agreement with you so they wont steal your idea, however most companies are reluctant to do that because they may be developing a similar item as your idea.
Don’t have the conversation over the phone, make an appointment to talk to them in person, it would be best if you took them to lunch or diner.
