Mad truck R/C battery question?

I have a mad truck R/C with a 7.2v 1800MaH battery… The truck only runs for a few minutes before dying… i want something that will hold a charge longer… Can I upgrade to a higher voltage battery without burning the motor? If Yes, What do you recommend?

Erm, well yes and no.
No, you cant upgrade to a higher voltage battery, without burning out something.
What you can do is get a higher milliamp battery. For example,
Batteries with a higher MaH will last longer, and go slightly faster.
