Electric On/off Road RC car?
Thinking about getting my self an electric rc car to race in Vegas and to take out to the desert here in Southern Utah. I use to race gas years ago in miami, But i think i want electric now. Anyone know of any good, fast, on road off road, electric RC cars out there? (preferably not a big old monster truck, i like them some what sleek.) Thanks

MINI THUNDER QUAKE MODS…. 19T Pinion Gear For Motor. 40T Spur Gear For Drive Shaft. Blue Aluminum CV Drive Shafts Front and Rear. 2 Cell 7.4V 1300 mah Lipo Battery. Custom Painted Body. I’m new to nitro rc and I need help?
Please tell me what does it mean to open the throttle, idle the engine, etc… Also, my glow starter has a needle on the top that is leaning to the red side of the gauge, what does that mean? Does it mean that it is not charged? Please give some tips to get me started. I already have the truck, it’s an XTM MONster MT RTR. Thank You !! Please answer as soon as possible!

Best R/C truck for my 9 yo son for Christmas?
It’s been YEARS since I was into RC seriously, so I’m sort of out of the loop with not a lot of time to research. My 9yo son wants a “real” RC car for Christmas, can anyone recommend a good starter RC that meets the following criteria?
1. Electric
2. Inexpensive (not cheap)
3. Stadium truck or tall buggy for playing with in the front yard (grass, driveway, gravel, etc)
4. Perfect for young (9yo) first timer, to give him experience of building an RC, without deep pockets of a carbon fiber “racing” model.

(BTW: I currently have my own, Nitro Evader gas truck that we play with together, but it’s a PITA because it’s gas and needs a lot of tinkering, plus it’s very delicate (or too fast) because every time I run it, I’m replacing control arms or suspension components) so durability would be a REALLY nice feature since he’ll more than likely be a very crazy driver at first.
