What are some games suitable for all ages but not too kiddish/dopey?
I need a lit of games that are not violent FPS’, but that also aren’t little kiddish games like MySims:plush dolls or whatever. I need some “in-between” games. It’s kind of hard to find games like these these days.

My marathon is 3 weeks away. Just got my knee MRI result back and it says the following:?
The literal meniscus demonstrates a focal tear. The medial meniscus appears intact.
Patella cartilage demonstrates subtle diffuse edema on axial image signifying minimal chodromalacia.
Erosion of patellar cartridge is seen.
There is a slight lateral patella tilt noted.
Conclusion: Subtle chondromalacia patella is seen. No Chondromalacia seen in medial or lateral joint compartments, no ligamentous or meniscal injury is evident.
Should I still plan on running a marathon in 3 weeks?
Did your doctor not review the results with you? Someone definitely should have sat down with you to explain the observations. However, busy-busy as the medical community is these days, that doesn’t always happen.
Chondromalacia of the patella is commonly referred to as “runner’s knee”, though it’s commonly found in many other sports such as soccer, tennis, etc. where the knee joint is under significant stress. It is a degenerative condition of the cartilage surface on the back of the knee cap and can cause discomfort or a dull pain near or behind the patella. In it’s early stages, the symptoms might be fully reversible, provided there has been no structural damage to the knee.
The conclusion of your MRI describes subtle chondromalacia of the patella, but nothing in the other joint compartments of the knee and no apparent damage to the ligaments or meniscus. Thus, it would seem that there is no obvious structural damage in your knee and you likely just have mild wear of the patellar cartilage.
I’m assuming that you had some persistent pain which prompted the MRI. This could be the natural result of wear and tear from your marathon training. The high mileage leading up to the pre-race taper often results in stress-related injury or discomfort. Unfortunately, only you can answer the question of whether or not to run. It’s not unusual to experience some pain or discomfort while running, but you need to ask yourself two questions…. 1) Can I tolerate the discomfort over 26.2 miles? 2) Does the pain cause me to alter my natural running stride to compensate? Based on the conclusions in the MRI, if you can run without favoring the affected leg and the pain is not overwhelming, I would say go ahead and run. However, if not, it’s better to heal properly and miss one race than to push too hard and cause major damage.
The most useful thing you can do between now and race day is rest. If you’re following a training program, consider adding more rest days and shortening the weekly mileage. Three weeks is long enough to heal most minor injuries provided you give yourself plenty of rest. Your fitness level won’t fall off significantly in that time if you miss a few training sessions.
