Pokon: Masters Arena! and Pokon: Team Turbo are Pokon games developed by ValuSoft only for the PC. They are game compilations designed for young children.
Masters Arena contains eight games, testing the players’ knowledge to prove themselves as a true Pokon Master. On mastering all eight games, the player earns 8 posters, which can be printed.
Team Turbo contains five racing games which are used to earn power-ups for use in race course courses.
In addition, a series of minigames called PokOM Gotta LEARN ‘em all was released on specially shaped 8mm CD-ROMs and also as an LE Complete Collection Box for PC and Apple Mac. Developed by Mattel Interactive, this is a Nintendo International Licensed Product.
Also released on PC was a Pokon Trading Card Game Tempest Gift Box, developed by Wizards of the Coast, a Computer Trading Card Game on CD incl. a 60-card Tempest theme deck, three 11-card booster packs, one CD-ROM, playing mat, metal coin feat. Pikachu, felt bag, card list, rulebook, damage counters and a tipsheet.
Pokon Project Studio, also on PC, came as Red and Blue version of a ‘Gotta MAKE ‘em all’ Pokon designs.
MMO
There are MMO versions of Pokon on the internet, none of which are officially licensed by Nintendo.
Pokemon World Online
This is a 2D MMO deriving from the Gameboy versions of Pokon. Although still in the Beta Stage (it has never left Beta since it’s inception), it currently has a stable version and 2 servers online.
Pokemon Global
Like Pokemon World Online, Pokemon Global is an open source 2D MMO.
Pokon Battle Arena
Currently in the beta stage, this is a 3D MMO.

Aussie tax question about contracting – please help.?
I work a normal 9-5 job earning a salary and obviously paying tax each month.
I also contract out in my spare time, issue invoices with an abn and they pay into my bank account. With this extra contracting out that I do, I have only earned $4500 in the tax year. Do I still pay tax on this amount? I’ve heard that there is a rule about hobbies/jobs that earn money under $5000 a year and that you don’t have to pay tax on that extra income because it’s so low.
Can someone please advise if this is true, and if so what is the rule called or how do I find more info on it? I have just tried to find this on the ATO website but it’s very confusing and I’m going around in circles.

Generally if you issue invoices with ABN, you get paid for them, those payments are really mullah for you carrying on an enterprise – not hobby or recreation.
I understand that the Tax Office does not draw the line on $5000 or $50,000 (like the Tupperware Tax Advice said…on the earlier Y!A posting) or $500,000 to say whether it is a hobby or recreation or not.
We need to see whether it is repeated, regular, continuous, has a significant commercial purpose….?

Basically it goes like this – for anyone to register for ABN – you actually need to carry on an enterprise. A hobby is specifically excluded from this definition of “carry on an enterprise”. It doesn’t matter how small the enterprise is – if the intention is to make profit – then it is. Therefore, the logic goes, if you have an ABN and you churned various tax invoices out with your ABN printed on them, then you have been carrying on an enterprise and the mullah is to go to your tax return.
Lastly – If I may suggest – rather than trying to disguise this as a hobby, whereby you then also can’t claim any deduction relating to the activities – what about trying to see whether you can access the Entrepreneur tax offset? The entrepreneurs’ tax offset may reduce your tax payable by up to 25% where your business has turnover less than $75,000. Just an idea.

Axial flow fans have blades that force air to move along the shaft about which the blades rotate. Axial fans blow air across the axis of the fan, linearly, hence their name. This type of fan is used in a wide variety of applications, ranging from small cooling fans for electronics to the giant fans used in wind tunnels.
Some examples of axial fans are:
Table fan – Basic elements of a typical table fan include the fan blade, base, armature and lead wires, motor, blade guard, motor housing, oscillator gearbox, and oscillator shaft. The oscillator is a mechanism that motions the fan from side to side. The axle comes out on both ends of the motor, one end of the axle is attached to the blade and the other is attached to the oscillator gearbox. The motor case joins to the gearbox to contain the rotor and stator. The oscillator shaft combines to the weighted base and the gearbox. A motor housing covers the oscillator mechanism. The blade guard joins to the motor case for safety.
Electro-mechanical fans, among collectors, are rated according to their condition, size, age, and number of blades. Four-blade designs are the most common. Five-blade or six-blade designs are rare. The materials from which the components are made, such as brass, are important factors in fan desirability.

In automobiles, a mechanical fan provides engine cooling and prevents the engine from overheating by blowing or sucking air through a coolant-filled radiator. It can be driven with a belt and pulley off the engine’s crankshaft or an electric fan switched on/off by a thermostatic switch.
A variable pitch balde in axial fan blower is used where precise control of static pressure within supply ducts is required. The fan wheel will spin at a constant RPM . The blades follow the control pitch hub. As the hub moves toward the rotor the blades increase their angle of attack and an increase in flow results.
In centrifugal fan, as opposed to axial flow fan, the air is moving perpendicularly to the fan shaft. Often called a “squirrel cage” (due to its similarity in appearance to exercise wheels for pet rodents), the centrifugal fan has a moving component (called an impeller) that consists of a central shaft about which a set of blades, or ribs, are positioned. Centrifugal fans blow air at right angles to the intake of the fan, and spin the air outwards to the outlet (by deflection and centrifugal force). The impeller rotates, causing air to enter the fan near the shaft and move perpendicularly from the shaft to the opening in the scroll-shaped fan casing. A centrifugal fan produces more pressure for a given air volume, and is used where this is desirable such as in leaf blowers, hair driers, air mattress inflators, inflatable structures, and various industrial purposes. They are typically noisier than comparable axial fans.
A mixed flow fan is an air moving device in between axial flow fan and centrifugal fan. Mixed Flow fans are an excellent choice for return air, supply, or general ventilation applications where low sound is critical. As compared to similarly sized tubular centrifugals and vane axials, a mixed flow fan will be 5-20 dB quieter! In addition, the mixed flow wheel is extremely efficient and will cut down on operating expenses.

Unfortunately, if you don’t already own the Doggy Daycare toys, you won’t have a chance to purchase them. It’s illegal to sell recalled toys on places like E-bay as well as in antiques shops so there is no where that you will be able to find them. Sorry to disappoint you.
